SRINAGAR, Dec 18: Actor Bhagyashree says that Kashmir is peaceful and stunning, and he questions why people travel abroad when India has so much natural beauty. The 54-year-old, who gained notoriety in 1989 with her feature debut “Maine Pyar Kiya,” claimed that many travellers are eager to see the Valley but are afraid. “This place always brings to mind the couplet by Amir Khusro, ‘If there is Paradise on Earth, it is here, it is here, it is here.'” During your lifetime, make sure to visit Kashmir. I don’t know why people travel to Europe or Switzerland because this place is so serene and lovely. Why travel abroad when there is so much beauty in our own nation? At an Anantnag tourist resort, Bhagyashree said Kashmir is compared to Switzerland by some here, but I argue that Switzerland is more like Switzerland. Here, you experience inner serenity. You will never run into trouble because people are so wonderful, she continued. The actor also lauded the hospitality and food of Kashmir. She went on, “The people are as sweet as jaggery and the food is very tasty.” Most recently, Bhagyashree appeared in the viral video “Sajni Shinde Ka,” which also starred Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan.
