Jammu, Feb 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Tuesday that residents in the Union territory are now free to enjoy the nightlife without worry after Prime Minister Narendra Modi lifted Article 370, liberating Jammu and Kashmir from terrorism and corruption. According to Sinha, incidences linked to terrorism have decreased by 75%, and stone-pelting is now a thing of the past. The nightlife in Kashmir is currently enjoyed by the general public. Restaurants and movie theatres are open in the nights. Young people playing guitars are enjoying their evenings on the banks of the Jhelum River, and Jammu residents will soon be spending time on the Tawi River, according to Sinha.He claimed that J&K is now moving towards peace and progress thanks to Modi ji’s active assistance. The number of terrorist-related incidents has decreased by 75%, and all of the leading terrorist organisations’ commanders have been banished (to hell). There is no longer any stone-pelting, and there is a record low in local terrorist recruitment, he claimed. He claimed that the days of the bordering country’s citizens issuing protest signs and hartal calendars were long gone. Rather, we are now releasing recruitment and education calendars. Universities, schools, and markets are all open all year round, according to Sinha.Speaking to a sizable gathering at Jammu’s Moulana Azad Stadium as PM Modi was seated in the audience, the LG declared that as of August 5, 2019, injustice, separatism, and terrorism would never again exist. “I am pleased to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the contemporary architect of Jammu and Kashmir, to the city of temples. According to Singh, the displaced people from Pakistan’s PoK, refugees from West Pakistan, and the oppressed finally received their fair share.Speaking about J&K’s development under PM Modi, he added that on April 24, 2022, the PM visited Palli (Samba) and launched projects totaling Rs 21,000 crore. “Today, the prime minister laid the groundwork and opened projects valued at 32,000 crores. I believe that this is perhaps the first time in Jammu and Kashmir’s history that such actions have been taken. In the next four months, projects worth Rs 20,000 crore will be completed. The prime minister’s projects, worth Rs 60,000 crore, will be finished by 2025, he continued.Sinha went on to say that the PM has given power to every segment of society. Over the past three years, the PM has empowered about 1.25 crore people. Panchayats and local urban governments have granted reservations to underprivileged people for the first time, he said. The LG added that the rights of the Pahari group have been granted without affecting the Gujjar and Bakerwal communities’ reservations or rights. He declared that preparations are underway to ensure that panchayat elections are conducted on schedule. Speaking at the event, Union minister Jitendra Singh claimed that 70 years of injustice in J&K had come to an end as a result of PM Modi’s efforts.“Every segment of the community, comprising Gujjars, Bakerwals, Paharis, Valmikis, and KPs, is leading a respectable life,” he declared. “We now have the longest highway tunnel in Asia and the tallest rail bridge in the world crossing the Chenab. “Modi hai to mumkin hai,” remarked Singh.
