JAMMU: A heated altercation broke out on the Begampura Express, travelling from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi to Jammu Tawi, after a YouTuber asked for a bill for a cup of coffee. According to a viral video, the pantry car manager allegedly misbehaved with the YouTuber and slapped him during the argument. The incident began when the YouTuber bought a cup of coffee for Rs 20 from a pantry staff member but was denied a bill. Suspecting overcharging, he started filming and demanded proof of purchase. The pantry boy reportedly asked him to turn off the camera, leading the YouTuber to call the manager. When the manager arrived, he insisted that the YouTuber stop recording. After a brief argument, the manager offered the coffee for free, but the YouTuber refused. The situation escalated further when the manager, too, began recording the YouTuber, sparking a heated exchange that ultimately led to the manager slapping him. Sharing the video, the X handle @gharkekalesh wrote: “A quarrel broke out between the YouTuber and the pantry car manager when he asked for a food bill. The argument escalated to the point where the manager slapped the passenger. This incident occurred on the Begumpura Express, a superfast train running between Varanasi Junction and Jammu Tawi.” The video garnered over 1,94,000 views, igniting outrage against the poor management and unruly behaviour of staff working with the Indian Railways. “Reality of Indian Railways,” a user wrote. “Railways serving punches instead of receipts? That’s one way to enforce ‘no complaints’ policy!” another user commented.
