Hope SC Delivers Verdict In Favour Of People Of J&K: Azad On Article 370 Petitions

Srinagar, Dec 10: The Jaipur Police Commissioner released an official statement on December 5th, stating that Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathod, the two shooters, had facilitated arrangements for Nitin Fauji in Jaipur, where he was killed in an indiscriminate shooting at Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's Shyam Nagar residence. He added that Nitin Fauji and his cronies opened fire on the Mahendragarh Police Station Sadar officers on November 9 before fleeing. On November 19, Nitin Fauji sent his friend Ramveer to Jaipur during this time. During the gunfight with the police at Gogamedi's house, one of the attackers, Naveen Shekhawat, was killed. The police reported that one of Gogamedi's security guards was hurt in the crossfire.After splitting from the Congress, Azad founded the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP). He stated that he does not believe Parliament will go back on the decisions made on August 5, 2019, since that would require a two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha. It would take 350 Lok Sabha seats to reinstate Article 370 and Article 35A. In Jammu and Kashmir, a regional party may win three, four, or up to five seats. That wouldn't be sufficient. I don't think the opposition could muster that many people. Despite having the majority, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not act. Thus, he said, only the Supreme Court has the authority to do so.No matter their religion or ethnicity, Azad claimed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were emotionally attached to the special clauses of the Constitution that were removed four years ago. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have strong emotional ties—rather than political ones—to Article 370 and Article 35A. Restoring these (provisions) is crucial for safeguarding our future and present, the speaker stated. The former Union minister emphasised that Maharaja Hari Singh had put in place special measures in 1925 to safeguard the land and employment opportunities for the people of Jammu and Kashmir."After independence, these provisions were incorporated into the nation's Constitution as Article 35A. Over the past 100 years, a lot of governments have come and gone, and nobody has felt the need to alter it," he continued. Delhi CB detain 3 persons including two main accused in Sukhdev Gogamedi murder case

NEW DELHI: In a cooperative effort with the Rajasthan Police, the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police arrested three individuals from Chandigarh, two of whom were primary suspects, in relation to the killing of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. The Delhi police made this announcement on Sunday. The primary accused, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, are reportedly among those detained today as well. All three of the offenders are being transported to Delhi, according to the police.
