Sonitpur (Assam), Jan 20: Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's direction, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Saturday that the nation will be completely free of the Naxalism issue over the next three years. Shah stated at the 60th Raising Day of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) in Tezpur, Assam, on Saturday, "I believe that the country will completely get rid of the problem of Naxalism under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership in the next three years." Acknowledging the valour exhibited by the SSB in combating Naxalism, Amit Shah stated that the SSB, in conjunction with the CRPF and the BSF, has effectively marginalised the Naxal cause.In addition to guarding the borders of Nepal and Bhutan, which are friendly nations, the SSB has battled the Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Whenever I have reviewed Naxal operations in these areas, I have heard of your bravery," Shah remarked. "In Jammu and Kashmir, the SSB has laid down their lives while fighting together with the CRPF, BSF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Indian Army against terrorists," the Union Home Minister stated, discussing the SSB's role in eradicating terrorism in the region. According to Amit Shah, a postal stamp commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the SSB Raising Day has been distributed by the government. In addition, the Indian government today released a postal stamp in honour of Sashatra Seema Bal's 60th Raising Day. It will indefinitely preserve the SSB's commitment to duty in the eyes of the nation's citizens. According to Shah, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other organisations are among the several Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) for which the central government has taken various actions to ensure their wellbeing. "Over the past nine years, Prime Minister Modi has implemented various measures to ensure the well-being of all CAPFs, including the CRPF and other border-deployed organisations like the SSB," stated Shah. "The SSB has a rich history of being immersed in the service and protection of our country," Shah remarked, discussing the organization's past. The Special Security Bureau (SSB) was founded in 1963 following the India-China War. Following the implementation of the "One Border One Force" policy by Atal ji, the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the SSB has been tasked with guarding the borders between India and Nepal since 2001 and between India and Bhutan since 2004. Together with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Union Home Minister attended the 60th Raising Day of Sashatra Seema Bal at the SSB Complex in Tezpur. UDHAMPUR: Bharat Sinh Solanki, a senior AICC official and the party's liaison for J&K affairs, claimed on Friday that the BJP was avoiding local and assembly elections out of concern that it would lose, "thus depriving people of J&K of basic democratic rights". He claimed that the BJP should be held accountable for the injustices done to the people of J&K, since they had stolen their jobs, land, and statehood. Speaking alongside a group of local leaders to party workers in Udhampur, Solanki declared, "After losing the Kargil hill council polls, the BJP called off all elections, from local councils to panchayats. Even though the Supreme Court ordered that the long-overdue Assembly elections be held before the end of September this year, no one knows when they will take place."In a scathing attack, Solanki accused the saffron party of "bringing unprecedented price rise of all commodities like petrol, diesel, LPG and other items". Solanki urged the populace to rise up against the BJP government's purportedly incorrect policies, saying that voters have to support issues that truly affect the nation's common people and reject the BJP's polarising strategies. Vikar Rasool Wani, the president of the UT Congress, claimed that the BJP has caused suffering for the people of J&K by stealing their rights. "There is widespread unemployment and joblessness, and the resources are being mercilessly plundered, depriving the people of a secure environment and means of subsistence. All significant projects are being worked on by outside contractors at the expense of local contractors, and there is no involvement from local stakeholders," Wani stated. Raman Bhalla, the working president of the J&K Congress, took aim at the BJP for launching new booze stores in Jammu, which is known as the "City of Temples," and other places where young people are readily gullible.
