Two Die After Vehicle Plunges Into Gorge In Ramban

JAMMU, Mar 5: An official said on Tuesday that at least two individuals lost their lives in a traffic accident on Monday night after the car they were riding in at Battery Chashma along the Jammu Srinagar national highway in the Ramban area plunged into deep george. According to an official, the unfortunate taxi driver mishandled a sudden turn, causing the car to plunge into a deep ravine approximately 150 metres from Battery Chashma, Ramban, on NH-44 at 12:30 in the morning. He said that as soon as the police, civil QRT, and SDRF arrived at the scene of the collision, the two people inside the vehicle were removed and taken to DH Ramban, where they were both pronounced dead at the hospital.The two deceased have been identified as residents of Village Dalwa, Sangaldan, Gool District Ramban: Hakam Din, son of Abdul Rehman, who was around 25 years old, and Tariq Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid, who was approximately 32 years old.
