J&K Has Witnessed Zero Collateral Damage In Last 5 Years: DGP Dilbag

LETHPORA, Oct 28: Police head Dilbag Singh stated here on Saturday that throughout the previous five years, there has been a decrease in terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as no events involving law enforcement or collateral damage. The DGP released a report card on terror, stating that 30 terror-related crime occurrences have occurred in Jammu & Kashmir this year."Of the 21 stations chosen for the initial OCAPs phase, 17 were completely free of terror—that is, 100 percent free of dread. Four terror events happened at just four police stations: one in Pulwama and three in Srinagar. "Since these four occurrences only happened in January and February, the previous eight months have likewise been completely terror-free. Thus, for the past eight months, none of the 21 have experienced panic," he stated. According to Singh, there have only been three incidences in the 22 police stations chosen for the second phase, all of which have occurred in Anantnag areas."As of right now, there is no dread in any of the 12 areas where OCAPs have been implemented. 19 of these stations have not had any terror attacks in the past 12 months. Only seven police stations had seven instances, and 36 stations remained terror-free overall, he continued. According to Singh, OCAP is a police mission. He declared, "These teams will strengthen the police station's authority and serve as a powerful arm of the SHO." Terror module busted with 4 arrest : Punjab Police

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Police announced on Saturday that it has arrested four members of the outlawed pro-Khalistani organisation Babbar Khalsa International, breaking up a terror module. According to Gaurav Yadav, the Director General of Police, the controllers of the terror module assigned it the mission of carrying out specific deaths. Six handguns and 275 cartridges were also found by the police from them. "A significant achievement has been made by the @sasnagarpolice in stopping a terrorist module and apprehending four members of the BKI (Babar Khalsa International) outfit. Tel Aviv [Israel], Oct 28: The Israel Defence Forces and Shin Bet security services have confirmed that Issam Abu Rukbeh, the leader of Hamas' aerial section, was killed in an attack during the night. Abu Rukbeh was in charge of the air defences, aerial detection systems, drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and paragliders used by Hamas. He coordinated drone assaults against Israel Defence Force observation posts and guided terrorists using paragliders to reach southern Israel, thus playing a major part in the preparation and execution of the October 7 attack.The IDF declared on October 14 that Murad Abu Murad, the former commander of Hamas's aerial forces, had been killed. Sgt Shirel Haim Pour, a 20-year-old from Rishon Lezion, was also named by the Israel Defence Forces as one of the soldiers slain in the October 7 Hamas attack. The Times of Israel claimed that after informing her family, her name was cleared for publishing. With the passing of Sgt Pour, who was a member of the Gaza Division, 311 soldiers, officers, and reservists had lost their lives in the fighting. Numerous skirmishes broke out between Israel Defence Forces soldiers and Hamas militants over the course of the force's overnight ground operation in the Gaza Strip.But there were no reported injuries among the soldiers during these encounters. India create history, cross 100 medals at Asian Para Games in record-breaking campaign

NEW DELHI: Dilip Mahadu Gavit won a gold medal on Saturday, marking the 100th medal won by Indian para-athletes at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou. In the Men's 400m T47 event, Gavit took home the gold medal. With a great run time of 49.48 seconds, he won the coveted gold. This is the Indian para contingent's most successful Para Asian Games campaign to date, having won 100 medals for the first time. India has claimed 26 gold, 29 silver, and 45 bronze medals as of the publication of this article. DGP Dilbag inaugurates additional facilities at Police Hospital Jammu

JAMMU: Dilbag Singh, the Director General of Police, visited Police Hospital Jammu and inaugurated several new facilities while accompanied by Dr. Rubinder Kaur, the Chairperson of Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA). JAMMU: Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, conducted a thorough evaluation of the Revenue Department's operations today.
