India’s rapid development and praise across world is due to stable Govt: PM

GUJARAT: On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that the nation's quick development and the international acclaim it is receiving are due to the people's ability to elect a stable government. Speaking at a public rally in Kheralu, in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, he had just inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for numerous development projects totaling Rs 5,950 crore. According to Modi, Gujarat has seen firsthand how a long-term stable government may facilitate the making of beneficial decisions for the state.The Prime Minister added that he keeps his promises when he makes them. "At the root of the rapid development being seen in the country and India's praise in the world (for rapid development) is the power of the public that has given a stable government in the country," he stated. "We have experienced how a stable and majority government in Gujarat continuing for a long time has helped us take one decision after another," Modi stated.The speaker asserted that the swift development of Gujarat is attributed to the bold decisions taken and the significant development initiatives undertaken over the past several years, which the public is fully aware of. "And you consider me to be your own Narendrabhai rather than the prime minister because you know your Narendrabhai." And you know your Narendra bhai, he keeps his word whenever he makes a commitment," Modi remarked. Lal Singh Bats For Separate ‘Jammu State’

JAMMU, Oct 30: Choudhary Lal Singh, the chairman of the Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party, argued on Monday that Jammu and the Kashmir valley have radically different traditions, languages, and cultures, and he urged for the establishment of a separate state of Jammu. "Jammu ought to exist as its own state. Why are you (the federal government) unable to provide us our own state? Singh stated at a gathering in the Samba district. We don't dress alike, nor do our languages or cultures mirror theirs. He said, "Water does not flow from Jammu into Kashmir or vice versa.In acknowledgment of the Dogras' role in creating the state, Singh, a former minister in the Jammu and Kashmir government, remarked, "Dogras have not only shed their blood to establish this state but have also safeguarded India's borders." Our young people are currently defending the region from Siachen to Rajasthan after our predecessors bravely battled to create this state. He claimed that the politicians of Kashmir had seized the share of jobs that belonged to the people of Jammu and that they were accountable for the denial of Jammu's rights for six decades.Rulers in Kashmir have stolen jobs in addition to weakening Dogra culture. Over the last 60 years, they have taken advantage of Dogras. They hold grudges against us. They denied the people of Jammu their legitimate rights and disregarded Jammu's tourism potential, he claimed. Singh, who previously belonged to the Congress and then the BJP before leaving both organisations to found his own, declared, "If you stand by me for the next six months, we will bring about a revolution here."Singh highlighted the needless requirement for certifications and the BJP government's termination of widow payments. It's evolved into a certificate-based government. Due to these benefit-free cards, the government causes them to suffer rather than providing comfort and all-encompassing support. The former lawmaker also criticised the area's healthcare system. Singh discussed the J&K government's handling of smart metres and incorrect bills while emphasising the state's 60,000 megawatts of power production capacity. "Yet, we suffer because we are unable to access these resources."   [caption id="attachment_4689" align="alignnone" width="300"] Lal Singh Bats For Separate ‘Jammu State’[/caption]

Regarding recent attempts at infiltration, the DGP stated that although the border fence is robust, terrorists are still being pushed in by the bordering nation. "One terrorist was killed in today's encounter in the Kupwara district where operation is on, while five terrorists were killed recently in the Machil Sector," he stated.When asked about the ceasefire violation in Jammu's Arnia sector, he responded, "We are verifying the circumstances surrounding the firing incident." "I hope the ceasefire stays in place because it has given the border residents a lot of respite," he remarked. "Police and security agencies will keep a close watch on the developments and take measures to deal with any additional challenges," he responded when asked if there was a chance of further infiltration bids given that the bordering country was holding elections. He stated that whether there are elections or not, terrorists are still being driven into this region by their neighbour. The DGP declared, "Security Forces are always ready to deal with any eventuality."
