Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya will be start of ‘Ram Rajya’ in country : Yogi

SUKMA: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath declared on Sunday that the building of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will mark the start of "Ram Rajya," a nation free from caste and religious prejudice. He added that during his nine and a half years in office at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had established the groundwork for "Ram Rajya," a term generally used from ancient times to denote the highest level of benevolent governance, through programmes relating to health insurance, tap water, toilets, and housing for the impoverished. Speaking at a rally in Konta, Chhattisgarh, which is set to hold elections, he also charged that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's ruling Congress was supporting "love jihad" and religious conversions. "In January, Ayodhya's Ram Temple construction will be finished. Given that Chhattisgarh is Lord Ram's "nanihal," or mother home, the people there should be happier than those in Uttar Pradesh. The country's declaration of Ram Rajya will commence with the completion of the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the speaker declared. "Ram Rajya refers to a system of governance in which caste and religion are not grounds for discrimination. Schemes will benefit everyone, especially the underprivileged, tribal people, and the impoverished. Everyone has access to facilities, security, and resource rights. "This is Ram Rajya," declared Adityanath.The CM of UP claimed that the Congress created obstacles in the way of the Ram Temple's development. Adityanath stated, criticising the state's Congress administration. "On issues like religious conversion and love jihad, the local authority remains silent. In every manner, it is promoting these kinds of endeavours. This is an issue, not a government." "The Congress itself is become a concern. He implored the assembly, "Get rid of this issue as soon as you can and help us realise Chhattisgarh's dreams." Right-wing groups use the term "love jihad" to accuse Muslim men of plotting to convert Hindu women by seducing them into marriage.Adityanath further charged that the Baghel government was involved in schemes involving coal, alcohol, mining, and hiring through the Public Service Commission. Konta is one of the twenty seats in Chhattisgarh that will see elections in the first phase on November 7. Soyam Muka was matched up against Congress MLA and minister Kawasi Lakhma by the BJP. Sunday at 5 p.m. is when the first round of voting campaigning will conclude. Results for the 90-member House's 70 seats will be announced on December 3 following the conclusion of the second round of voting on November 17. India’s power consumption grows 9.4 pc to 984.39 billion units in Apr-Oct

NEW DELHI: India's power consumption increased 9.4% to approximately 984.39 billion units during the April–October fiscal year compared to the same period last year, mostly as a result of improved weather and economic activity. According to data from the electricity ministry, the amount of power consumed during the April–October period of the fiscal year 2022–2023 was 899.95 billion units. Peak electricity consumption, another metric, was considerably higher this fiscal year, coming in at around 241 GW from April to October, as opposed to 215.88 GW in 2022. October saw a roughly 22% increase in the nation's power consumption to 138.94 billion units (BU), indicating a spike in demand for electricity brought on by celebrations and heightened economic activity.According to government data, power consumption in the same month last year was 113.94 billion units, which was higher than the 112.79 billion units recorded in October 2021. "Electricity consumption has gone up substantially in the last couple of months," a Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. representative stated. In the Tata electricity-Delhi Distribution Ltd's operational area, the amount of electricity consumed in October 2023 increased by approximately 10.16 per cent to 845 MUs (million units), as opposed to 767 MUs in October 2022. "This year's delayed arrival of winter is mostly to blame for the continued increase in demand. The representative clarified that the demand phenomenon has also been influenced by the celebratory events that take place in October. The spokesman did note that, in contrast to the same period last year, April and May electricity use were significantly lower this year due to the mild summer. The spokeswoman noted that because of the extremely humid weather, demand has been slowly increasing since July. The demand for electricity in the nation was predicted by the power ministry to reach 229 GW in the summer. Unseasonal rains in April and July prevented demand from reaching the anticipated level. But in June, the peak supply reached a record high of 224.1 GW, and in July, it fell to 209.03 GW. In August, peak demand reached 238.19 GW.This September, it was almost 241 GW. According to industry experts, this year's significant rains in March, April, May, and June had an impact on power consumption. They claimed that in addition to an increase in industrial activity ahead of the holiday season, electricity consumption increased in August and September mostly as a result of the humid weather. They claimed that the influence of celebrations and improved economic activity is reflected in the double-digit increase in power use in October. October saw the celebrations of Durga Puja, Navratri, and Dusshera. Experts believe that because of the upcoming holidays and improved economic activity, the growth in power usage would be stable.
