Raina begins 3-day tour of Udhampur for “Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan”

UDHAMPUR: The "Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan" is a series of events organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, under the leadership of its President, Ravinder Raina. Ravinder Raina, the president of the J&K BJP, started his three-day tour in the Udhampur district today. He spoke to the general public in four separate sessions today. In Jib Rehambal Mandal, he spoke at the first event in Kambal Danga Panchayat; in Malad Panchayat, Tikkri Mandal; in Gandala Panchayat, Krimchi Mandal; and in Narso Panchayat, Udhampur, at the second, third, and fourth programmes.Arun Gupta, the President of the BJP in Udhampur District, Pawan Gupta, the Former Minister, Balwant Singh Mankotia, the Former MLA and Party Spokesperson, Adv. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Lal Chand Bhagat, the Chairman of the DDC, Sheel Mangotra, Seh-Prabhari, DDC Poorav, DDC Ashu, and DDC Balwan Singh Participating in these activities were BDC Chairperson Jeevan, Vipan, Mandal Presidents Subhash and Shashi Pradhan, Sarpanches, Panches, and members of the general public. "BJP is organizing massive "Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan" programmes on daily basis in every Panchayat to have direct interaction with people and apprise them of the major achievements of Modi government in the last 9.5 years and also seek feedback of common masses at the same time", said Ravinder RainaAccording to Raina, BJP representatives participating in these programmes are saying that the public is lauding the Modi government for its outstanding public welfare projects and development works. Raina said that DDC, BDC, and other elected officials are also present at the meetings. These representatives are themselves paying close attention to the public concerns and are taking whatever necessary action to quickly realise the goals of the people. Raina listed the advantages of the Ayushman Gold Health Cards, the Kissan Sammman Nidhi, the Ladli Beti Yojana, the Pension Yojana, the Jal Jeevan Mission, and the homes for the needy provided by the PM Awas Yojana.He stated that Prime Minister Modi is giving his all for the country and urged the electorate to back the BJP in the next elections so that he can keep up the rapid pace of development projects and the care of the underprivileged. Referring to the Modi administration as "Gareebon Ki Sarkar," Raina claimed that the phrase "Fir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar" is being chanted by the populace. According to Raina, the BJP is currently holding large-scale demonstrations in the most isolated places, where no other political party is able to organise such gatherings. Similar events were hosted in Mandal Manajkote, Thannamandi Assembly Constituency, District Rajouri, at booths no. 1 (Panchayat Dreri) and no. 2 (Panchayat Dabrote). In Ward 5, Municipal Council Rajouri, Booths 32 and 41 hosted another programme. In this regard, a programme was held at booths 106, 107, and 108 in Panchayat Sawani of Mandal Doongi in the Rajouri Constituency. JAMMU: Jammu& Kashmir The government's objective, according to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday, is to guarantee every person a higher level of life and a social security net. The LG stated at the Pensioners Sammelan's opening that all societal segments are equally benefiting from union territory and central government programmes without facing any form of prejudice. The LG commended the Jammu district administration in his speech for their "sustained campaign to achieve the saturation" in the Integrated Social Security Scheme (ISSS), which has reached 63,919 beneficiaries in the categories of old age, widow, and divyang. "We want to guarantee a social security system for everyone and raise everyone's standard of living."The advantages of the central and UT schemes are distributed equally among all segments of society, according to Sinha. He restated the J&K administration's resolve to uplift the average person and integrate underprivileged groups into society. Our goal as we move forward is for everyone to live a good, prosperous, and progressive life. He claimed that the administration had guaranteed greater resources and rights for the underprivileged, marginalised, and vulnerable. The LG presented a number of government social welfare programmes. He said that these initiatives, spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have eliminated Jammu and Kashmir's developmental disparities. He noted that all decisions made by the administration in the best interests of the underprivileged and destitute have been made without fear or favour. "The saturation of several schemes highlights impressive manifestation of proper execution of programmes" , he stated. The LG urged officials, public representatives, and members of civil society to work together to link all eligible beneficiaries to social security programmes and improve their quality of life. The recipients received scooties, sanction letters, and other goodies from Sinha. Along with sharing their stories, the beneficiaries also thanked the administration for the "seamless extension" of benefits under a number of social welfare programmes. 2 cops suspended for dereliction of duty in Jammu

JAMMU: According to an official, two Jammu and Kashmir Police constables were suspended on Thursday for neglecting their duties. When a police car was discovered abandoned and personnel assigned to night duty was discovered to be neglecting their duties, a specially assigned team of police officials was performing their normal nightly check, the official stated. He added that in response, two police officers from Police Post Chinore were suspended by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar. Constable Wasim Akram and Selection Grade Constable Jagdish Raj are the two police officers who have been suspended. The official declared that both of them have been suspended effective immediately. NOV 09, 2023 : At her official residence, US Vice President Kamala Harris observed Diwali, telling the guests that the globe is currently going through a "difficult and dark moment" as a result of the conflict between Israel and Hamas. In her brief remarks, Harris,59, addressed the mostly Indian American guests. 559 inducted in BSF at passing out parade held in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: After 44 weeks of training, 599 recruits were officially welcomed into the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday. At the attestation ceremony and passing out parade, which took place at the BSF Subsidiary Training Centre in Humhama, Budgam district, the recruits were officially welcomed. According to a BSF official, 204 of the trainees are from Odisha, 208 are from Andhra Pradesh-208, 112 are from Kerala, and 75 are from Telangana. The trainees are from Eastern and Southern India. The parade's primary guest was BSF Director General Nitin Agrawal. Speaking to the recruits, DG BSF expressed his gratitude for the parade's high point—an outstanding demonstration of coordination, abilities, and self-assurance. He congratulated the recruits for selecting the BSF as their professional path and urged them to bravely and enthusiastically serve their country. SC Asks High Courts To Set Up Special Bench To Monitor Criminal Trials Against Lawmakers

New Delhi, Nov 9: Significantly, the Supreme Court on Thursday ordered all high courts to form a special bench and file a suo motu case in order to keep an eye on any criminal cases that are still outstanding against Members of Parliament and MLAs in order to guarantee their prompt resolution. In response to a PIL filed by Ashwini Upadhyay asking for the early resolution of ongoing criminal charges against politicians, a bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud issued a number of directives to high courts and trial courts. The highest court stated that it would be challenging to provide trial courts with consistent rules for the prompt resolution of matters involving legislators. According to the ruling, the high courts will form a special bench to oversee the criminal proceedings of the politicians, which will be chaired by the chief justice or a bench that the chief justice designates. According to the statement, the high courts may request reports on the progress of the trials against the politicians in criminal cases from special lower courts. The statement read, "The trial courts shall not, unless for rare and compelling reasons, adjourn the hearing of the cases against the Members of Parliament, MLAs, and MLCs."The CJI stated while delivering the ruling that the primary district and sessions judges will make sure that designated special courts trying legislators have access to adequate facilities and technology. The bench was hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) brought by lawyer Ashwani Dubey. The PIL sought reliefs such as a speedy trial for accused parliamentarians and the creation of special courts nationwide for this purpose, in addition to a life term ban on politicians upon conviction in criminal cases.
