Ekam Sanatan Dal to contest Jammu, Kathua among 400 LS seats

JAMMU: Following the Election Commission of India's approval of the name change, Chief Advocate Ankur Sharma of the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal declared that the party was prepared to run in all States and Union Territories for the Lok Sabha elections. "The Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal, erstwhile IkkJutt Jammu, will contest two Parliamentary seats from Jammu-Samba-Reasi and Udhampur- Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituencies while in total, more than 400 MP candidates will be fielded by the party across the country on one common symbol," he stated while addressing the media today.Additionally, according to Ankur Sharma, the party started the process of changing the name from IkkJutt Jammu to Ekam Sanatan Bharat in April 2023, and it was finished on December 5, 2023, when the Indian Election Commission approved it. It is important to note that IkKJutt Jammu became Pan India in April 2023. Over 2000 Founder members from 28 States and all Union Territories came together at the organization's inaugural convention in Haridwar. In the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Ankur Sharma urged people to vote and support Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal so that the fight for the political empowerment of Sanatan Sanskriti and civilization can be effectively waged through democratic means.
