Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Dec 30: According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, people who cherished the nation felt that its post-independence vision was not “Bharat-centric” until Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi took office as prime minister. After independence, people who respected the word “Bharat,” loved the country, and knew about it felt sorry for it because, despite its freedom, the nation’s goals were not Bharat-centric but rather focused on other things. While attending the Pujya Purani Swami Smriti Mahotsav, which was organised by Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam in Ahmedabad on Saturday, Shah stated, “This was in the minds of many for several years.”Beginning in 1950, all Bharatiya Janata Party members worked to alter this vision. That was something that our party worked for for many generations, with many even losing their lives in the process, until Gujarat’s chief minister was appointed as the nation’s prime minister and the world was praising Bharat, Shah continued. Praying for India’s accomplishments over the years, the Union Minister stated that the nation is currently on track to become the world’s leading producer of mobile phones and ranks third in terms of renewable energy and startup.“We are moving in the right direction to become the leading manufacturer of mobile phones today. We are ranked third in the world for start-ups and in the production of renewable energy, and nobody has any doubts about us anymore in terms of security,” stated Shah. Amit Shah proposed that, up until its repeal in 2019, Article 370 spawned separatism and terrorism.“We have been suffering for years as a result of Article 370, which gave rise to terrorism and separatism. With a single pen stroke on August 5, 2019, Modi abolished Article 370, according to Shah. “With surgical strikes and air strikes, we gave a message to those who used to mess with our borders not to take on our defence forces, otherwise, they will get a firm response from us, even within their homes,” Shah said in reference to the Narendra Modi government’s zero tolerance policy towards terrorism. Narendra Modi’s stance on terrorism is zero tolerance.The Home Minister expressed gratitude to Swami Narayan Sampradaya for its assistance in promoting Gujarat’s Sarva Sikhsha Abhiyan, saying, “Swami Narayan Sampradaya has enlightened several people.” I have to admit that Gujarat’s Sarva Sikhsha Abhiyan would not have been complete if the gurukul of Swami Narayan Sampradaya had not operated in various locations throughout the state.
