LEH: Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, the commander of the Northern Army, praised the perseverance and commitment of the troops stationed in forward regions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh on Thursday. “Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Army commander northern command visited formation in Ladakh sector to review the operational and security preparedness along the LAC,” said the Northern Command on X. According to the statement, the Army commander praised the soldiers’ perseverance and commitment in the face of difficult terrain and severe weather.The Army commander praised the troops of the Indian Army, Indo Tibetan Border Police, and General Reserve Engineer Force on Tuesday for their unwavering efforts in upholding the highest standards of operational effectiveness under difficult circumstances while on his ongoing tour to various formations, projects, and border areas in Ladakh. He also went over the construction of border protection infrastructure and operational readiness for the winter.
