Srinagar, Sep 4: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Thursday urged people not to panic and to rely only on official advisories issued by the administration.
“People need not worry, we must avoid rumours and follow the official instructions,” Div Com Garg told reporters in Srinagar.
On the availability of essentials, Garg said there is no shortage. “We have ample stock of essential supplies. Fortunately, communication services are working smoothly. Telecom, water and electricity are running without disruption,” he said.
He added that administration teams are present on the ground wherever required. “Follow advisories and in case of emergency, people should call the helpline numbers provided. Assistance will reach immediately,” the Div Com assured
