SRINAGAR: Arun Kumar Mehta, the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, claims that since all services are now provided online, there is no longer any prospect of corruption in the Union Territory. He said that different programmes and platforms have increased system transparency and prevented any funds from being fraudulently taken out of the public coffers. “We have made the decision to make all services available online. The goal is to establish a setting free from corruption. In the past, it was claimed that less than 10 paise of every rupee would reach the ground. After introducing the ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K’ campaign here, the officer told reporters that today a system had been established where the complete rupee reached the ground.
Without administrative authority, technical approval, e-tendering, and geospatial imagery, he added, no money could be withdrawn.
Mehta stated that the administration is attempting to address some of the ongoing concerns of misconduct.
“We want to address any outstanding issues as well.” The government is making every effort, but the populace also needs to step up and support this endeavour to create a society free from corruption,” he continued.
The chief secretary claimed that the government of Jammu and Kashmir was vying for national leadership in governance.
We have advanced significantly in a number of areas. We now aspire to lead in governance as well.
We lead the industry in IT services and perform well in many other industries,” he claimed.
Let’s leave it at that, Mehta said in reference to the reinstatement of lecturer Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, who had appeared as a petitioner-in-person before the Supreme Court bench considering Article 370 cases.
