NIA attaches immovable property of UAPA case accused in Poonch

POONCH: According to officials, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday annexed Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen member’s movable property after an OGW was detained in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with UAPA case. The property that is attached comprises over seven acres (59 kanals and 12 marlas) owned by Mohammad Yaseen, an OGW who works in the Balakote sector. He is being held at the Central Jail in Kot Balwal, Jammu, after being charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. According to the officials, the property in Dhabi-Dharati village in Balakote tehsil was seized following September 30 order from the NIA Court in Jammu. The order was carried out by team of NIA led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Megi and Naib tehsildar Balakote.
