NEW DELHI: Unlike past practice, there shall be no hike in the Toll Tax at the Toll Plazas across Jammu and Kashmir with the commencement of new financial year from April 1, 2024. According to Y P S Yadon, J&K Project Director, National Highway Authority of India, the Toll Tax has not been revised for the new financial year. However, he did not elucidate the reason behind the same. Pertinent to mention that Toll Tax is generally revised every year with effect from April 1 and the hike depends upon wholesale price index under the provisions of NH Fee Rules.
