Prayagraj, Oct 8: In light of the current “complex” and “dynamic” strategic environment, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari urged his force on Sunday to improve its overall capabilities, create a flexible attitude, and polish its overall strategy in order to “prosecute” potential future wars. The Chief of Air Staff stated that the current geopolitical environment has given the force an opportunity to lessen reliance on imports by creating indigenous capabilities in a speech to airmen on the occasion of Air Force Day. In addition, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari emphasised the importance of comprehending the subtleties of developing air force, “setting the pace to preserve peace and, if and when necessary, to fight and win wars.”According to him, the world is changing quickly and the IAF must rise to all new challenges. He claimed that in this complicated and dynamic strategic environment, “refining our strategy, building robust all-around capabilities and, more importantly, developing a flexible mind-set to prosecute future wars will prove decisive” would be beneficial. “We must recognise the significance of the space domain and continue developing our space capabilities in our quest to become an air and space force,” the IAF Chief stated.Additionally, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari urged his troops to uphold a culture of order and integrity and to be constantly vigilant against new dangers. “Our commitment to the defence of our country remains unwavering, and we will continue to safeguard the safety and security of our citizens, protect our territory, and deter potential adversaries,” he said. The Indian Air Force, he declared, “is not just a military force; it is a symbol of our nation’s overall strength and resolve.”
