UDHAMPUR: In a significant crackdown on illegal sale of controlled substances, District Police Udhampur alongwith Asst. Drug Controller team Udhampur have seized one medical shop for violation of Drug Cosmetics Act due to non-maintenance of sale and purchase record of Scheduled H1 Drugs. The seized medical shop, namely Ms. Krish Medical Store at Chopra Shop Udhampur is run by proprietor/chemist Mahinder Mahajan resident of Chabutra bazar Udhampur. District Police Udhampur have also issued a stern warning to other medical establishments to adhere to strict guidelines regarding the sale of controlled substances and to ensure all transactions are in full compliance with the law.
