SRINAGAR, Sept 29: Today at Raj Bhawan, Junaid Azim Mattu, the mayor of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Mattu spoke about a variety of developmental issues, the promotion of sports, and the welfare of the populace, particularly the people from Srinagar’s marginalised areas. The Lt. Governor was also visited by Dr. Beena Budki, President of the Hindi Kashmiri Sangam, who briefed her on the organization’s operations, which included promoting literature and culture. She also distributed copies of her book Kokh ki Peeda and the Urdu version of Geetanjali by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore Ji.
