Man Injured As Gun Goes Off ‘Accidentally’ In Kathua

JAMMU, Nov 8:  In the Kathua area of Jammu and Kashmir, 40-year-old man was hurt when his gun, which was built in his own country, “accidentally” went off, police officer said on Wednesday. He stated that during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, the guy known as Gori Shanker was shot inside his home in Sitti-Bani village by bullet fired from his own licenced gun. According to the source, on Wednesday morning, Shanker, who had chest injury, was brought to hospital and then sent to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu for specialised care. He said that the event is now being looked into by the police.
