POONCH: Around midnight on Thursday, officials in Gursai Mohri village of Mendhar in Poonch district reported that a ‘kacha’ house unexpectedly collapsed, killing a 55-year-old man and injuring his wife and two other relatives. At approximately 12:30 a.m., the house’s owner, 55-year-old Riyaz Hussain Shah, son of Sabre Hussain Shah, his wife, 52-year-old Shamim Akhtar, and their neighbours, 30-year-old Irfan Haider and Wazaif Haider, sons of Mehboob Hussain Sayed, were hurt. Later, the injured were moved to SDH Surankote. But Reyaz Hussain Shah, they added, passed away from his wounds. A police spokesman said that they have taken notice of the situation.
