JAMMU: KC Public School’s Multi-Sports Ground now has floodlights thanks to a system that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated today. The Lt Governor thanked the KC Educational Society and the sports fans on the occasion and offered them his best wishes. He was grateful for the KC Educational Society’s support in developing young people and giving pupils a top-notch education. “The most effective tool for constructing a nation is education. The Lieutenant Governor stated, “We must work tirelessly to guarantee that education is of the highest calibre, inclusive, focused on the future, and equipped to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century.The Lieutenant Governor emphasised the value of sports in education for pupils’ overall growth and for boosting cognitive ability. Sports are an effective way to teach leadership. He stated that the first step in creating a better world is integrating sports into schooling. “Under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, National Education Policy 2020 has ensured that sports is not seen as extra-curricular activity but career building opportunity,” the Lieutenant Governor continued. The Lt Governor urged the children to participate in sports because it will help them grow as people, understand the importance of teamwork, and be willing to take on new challenges. The Lieutenant Governor honoured the KC Public School’s exceptional athletes on this special day.In addition, All India Secretariat XI and KC Sports Club played a cricket match to commemorate the inauguration ceremony. There were teachers and children from KC Public School in addition to Amarendra Kumar Mishra, Principal, and members of the KC Educational Society, including Raju Chowdhary, Chairman of the Society. Prominent people, athletes, senior UT Administration personnel, and Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu and Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, were also present.
