SRINAGAR: LG Sinha paid obeisance to Sri Guru Hargobind Ji Maharaj on his Prakash Parv at Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi, Rainawari and Gurdwara Sri Shadimarg Sahib, Pulwama.The Lt. Governor gave the populace his warmest greetings and wished for everyone’s health, happiness, and prosperity.
The Lt Governor said that Guru Hargobind Sahib ji was the epitome of sacrifice, social justice, compassion, and international brotherhood in his speech on the occasion. He said, “His blessings continue to lead humanity on the path of peace and righteous living.”Guru Hargobind Sahib constantly inspired people to value compassion, social justice, and equality. In today’s world, his life and message of inner and exterior strength, solidarity, brotherhood, and equality of all people are highly relevant, the Lt. Governor remarked.
“Our Gurus have taught us that surrendering to God and working for social and religious harmony in society are the first steps on the road to supreme realisation and holiness. For our overall development, they have always led us on both our inner and exterior journeys, the Lt. Governor noted.He urged people to unite and work together to create a society free from discrimination and to go beyond their own immediate interests in order to further the ideas of social harmony, justice, truthfulness, brotherhood, and universalism.
“We should reaffirm our dedication to these ideals, strengthen our resolve to build a just and humane society, and work towards the common goal of inclusive development and upliftment of the underprivileged,” the Lt. Governor stated on the occasion of Guru Hargobind Sahib’s Prakash Parv.The Lt. Governor praised the Sikh community’s contribution to nation-building and pledged that the administration would provide the group all the assistance they need to achieve their goals.
Religious leaders, Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee members, well-known residents, senior police and civil administration officials, community elders, and people from all walks of life assembled in significant numbers to pay respects to Sri Guru Hargobind Ji. Junaid Azim Mattu, the mayor of SMC, was also there.In the meantime, hundreds of Sikhs celebrated Guru Hargobind Singh Jayanti in Kashmir by visiting Gurudwaras there.
