SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha presided over a meeting to discuss the preparations for the visit of Smt. Draupadi Murmu, the President of India, to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The Lt. Governor evaluated the University of Kashmir’s convocation preparations, which will be attended by the President. In preparation for the President’s visit, he also assessed the security measures and gave the go-ahead for the execution of a detailed traffic plan. Prof. Nilofer Khan, Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University, Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, Vijay Kumar, ADGP Kashmir, Sujit Kumar, DIG CKR Srinagar, Athar Amir Khan, Commissioner SMC, Mohammad Aijaz, DC Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal, SSP Srinagar, and senior officers were present at the meeting.
