JAMMU: On Wednesday, after a leopard was seen inside a school building, panic swept over the Nagrota district. According to a police spokeswoman, at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, some residents saw the animal inside the Sainik School Nagrota gate and alerted the authorities. He claimed that as a result, a team from the Nagrota Police Station arrived on the scene and notified the Wildlife Department as well. Anil K Atri, the Additional Director of Jambu Zoo and Wildlife Warden, stated, “Our team is on the spot but they’ve not traced the animal.” Wildlife creatures are frequently spotted in the Sainik School region since they use this path to travel to Tawi in order to rehydrate. After consuming the water, the animal may have vanished back into the forest, he speculated.
