JAMMU: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh announced on Sunday that the new Vande Bharat express train, which will run from Katra to Delhi starting on December 30, will make stops at the railway stations in Udhampur and Kathua. In addition to being a huge relief, the Union Minister stated that the train will make stops in Udhampur and Kathua, which will facilitate business, travel, and daily living. The minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving in to the persistent calls in Kathua and Udhampur for its cessation. “Good news for Kathua and Udhampur.There has been a steady demand for the first Vande Bharat train to stop in Kathua and Udhampur since it began running from Katra and Delhi in 2019. In a post on X, the Union Minister expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling their request. “This will not only come as a huge relief but also provide ease of travel, ease of business and overall ease of living,” he stated.
