JAMMU: Following a fruitful discussion with Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, the Joint Action Employees Forum has made the momentous decision to halt their current strike. A number of significant problems were discussed during the meeting, and the forum made their desires known. In response, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu listened to all of the demands with patience and gave the forum participants assurances.He gave them the assurance that all of their justifiable requests, including those concerning GP fund cases, gratuities, and SRO 43 cases, would be taken into consideration for resolution. The Joint Action Employees Forum office bearers have decided to call off their strike in response to these guarantees, which might be a significant step towards resolving the issues the forum has brought up. Present at the meeting were Gurmeet Singh, the Provincial President of Employees Union, S Gurmeet Singh, the Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, Ganesh Khajuria, the President of the Medical Employees Federation, Sushil Sudan, the President of the State Forest Employees Union, Suresh Sharma, the President of the Clerical Union, and Anish Sharma, the President of the Power Development Employees Union.
