SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir’s Batool Zehra, a first year college student from Uri has sang a Ram bhajan in Pahari language to connect J&K with the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha celebration, to be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Batool Zehra remarked “Our dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conducted an 11-day fast. He is acting in this way because on January 22 the country will see Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Lord Ram’s bhajans reverberate throughout the entire nation today. Our initiative does not overlook Jammu and Kashmir.” Speaking, Batool Zehra described her inspiration for a Ram bhajan. I have Ram Bhajan on tape in my native tongue. Muslim community members are also congratulating me.” Batool Zehra emphasises the lessons she learned from Islam, which inspired her to sing a Ram bhajan. “We were taught to love our country by Imam Hussain, and I am from the Saiyyad group. Our brothers and sisters are people from every community. Both Muslims and Hindus have a duty to respect one another. Lord Ram’s merits made him the greatest of all human beings. Additionally, he was the model of fairness and moral behaviour.” Ahead of the major temple opening, which is expected to attract dignitaries and people from all walks of life, preparations are in full gear.The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple will see the enthronement of Ram Lalla at noon on January 22 by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Beginning one week prior to the major celebration on January 16, Vedic rites will be performed for Ram Lalla’s Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. The ceremonial installation of Shri Ram Lalla inside the temple’s sanctum sanctorum will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, on Friday, PM Modi announced a unique 11-day ‘anushthan’ (ritual) ahead of the Pran Pratishtha celebration at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.
