J&K witnessed positive transformation in last 3 yrs than it had in 75 yrs: LG

SRINAGAR: LG Manoj Sinha, claimed on Monday that the area has undergone more good change in the last three years than it had in the previous 75. Speaking at the Convention Centre Srinagar’s inauguration of the first issue of the JAKFAS journal, Sinha said that corruption has been eradicated in Jammu and Kashmir in order to empower the average person. “The system, which was based on corruption, was destroyed. The system’s transparency has given the average person sense of empowerment. Jammu and Kashmir’s looters were brought accountable. The previous regimes had negative impact on J&K Bank, which is currently writing history, he said.The LG added that elections in Jammu and Kashmir would take place when necessary. The Election Commission of India will decide on the J&K elections, according to the Union Home Minister on the House floor. We are confident that 80% of voters will support the current political system,” he stated. “Some people in Jammu and Kashmir are unhappy with the way things are right now. Those who engaged in unethical behaviour won’t get off easy. As long as PM Modi is in charge, everything will be carried out in accordance with the law, Sinha continued.
