SRINAGAR: In the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police on Wednesday seized a business owned by a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist who is currently being held for his suspected role in the death of a circus worker. The accused, Umar Amin Thoker, a resident of the Waghama neighbourhood of Bijbehara, exploited the store called “The Game Modification Point” for terrorist activities, according to the police. According to the officials, the business, which is situated in Zirpora on the Bijbehara-Pahalgam road, has been attached under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The property cannot be bought, sold, leased, transferred, gifted, subleased, mortgaged, or lent without the consent of the appropriate authority, according to a notice from the police.According to the officials, Thoker and four other JeM terrorists were taken into custody in relation to the death of Deepak Kumar (27), a native of the Udhampur area in south Kashmir. They said that on the evening of May 29 of this year, Thoker, a worker at a circus in the Janglat Mandi neighbourhood of Udhampur, was shot and killed at close range by two terrorists riding motorcycles after he had gone to the market to purchase milk.
