RAMBAN: For the second day in a row, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remained closed to traffic on Friday, according to officials. A spokesperson for the Traffic Police stated, “No vehicular movement shall be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to road damaged at Kishtwari Pather, Sherbibi, shooting stones/mudslides at several places on NH-44.” He stated that the Jammu-Srinagar NHW is slick in several areas and that repair work is ongoing in Kishtwari Pather, Sherbibi, Magerkote, Mehad-Cafeteria, and Dalwas. “People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW till the road is clear” , he stated. Meanwhile, snow buildup has left the Mughal road and the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road closed.
