JAMMU: In a decisive crackdown on criminal activities, Jammu Police (South Zone) arrested three individuals and seized sharp-edged weapons including a toka, swords and a khokri during a well-coordinated operation on Sunday.
The swift action highlights the police force’s ongoing commitment to ensuring public safety and curbing rising crime in the region.
The operation was executed by the team of Police Post Narwal, led by the Incharge PP Narwal, under the close supervision of SP City South, SDPO City East, and SHO Bahu Fort, with overall guidance from SSP Jammu.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused were identified as:
Rockey Singh, son of Late Ram Singh, resident of Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, Jammu
Shiva, son of Late Ram Singh, resident of Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, Jammu
Sahil, son of Suresh, resident of Amritsar, presently staying in Rajiv Nagar, Narwal
Following the arrest, a case has been registered under FIR No. 338/2025 at Police Station Bahu Fort under Sections 4/25 Arms Act and 3(5) BNS. All three accused were apprehended on the spot, and further investigation is underway to uncover possible links and motives.
Reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy against crime, Jammu Police stated that strict and sustained action will continue against miscreants. The department urged the public to cooperate by reporting any suspicious activities to help maintain peace, security, and a safe environment for citizens.
