JAMMU, Mar 28: Government today ordered enquiry into violations of the rules/guidelines by the successive principals of Gandhi Memorial College (GMC) Srinagar regarding regularization of ad-hoc non-teaching employees of the College and appointments made on compassionate grounds in terms of SRO-43 of 1994.
According to the order, Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma, Special Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer to conduct in-depth enquiry into the violation of rules/guidelines by the successive principals of Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar.
“The Inquiry Officer shall submit the preliminary report in the matter clearly specifying the extent of violation of the applicable guidelines/rules by the successive principals,” the order mentioned
