SRINAGAR: Security forces stopped an attempted infiltration along the Line of Control in the Kupwara area of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, according to authorities, and two terrorists were killed. The Kumkadi area in the Machil sector in the north Kashmir district was the site of the attempted infiltration. Two infiltrating terrorists have so far been killed in a joint operation by the Army and police in the Kumkadi area of the Machal sector, according to information provided by Kupwara Police, according to a post on X. The police stated that the operation is still ongoing. According to them, the encounter location has already yielded the recovery of two AK weapons, four AK magazines, 90 rounds, a Pakistani pistol, a pouch, and Rs 2,100 in Pakistani cash.
