LUCKNOW: On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the 140 crore Indians are symbolised by the Indian Army as being strong and courageous. The dream of a safe and independent country can only be realised by a powerful army. The three-day ‘Know Your Army’ festival at Lucknow’s Surya Khel Parisar was officially opened by the Chief Minister. He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Defence Minister for organising the inaugural “Know Your Army” festival outside of the nation’s capital, adding, “It is a matter of pride that Lucknow-based Central Command has been selected for this ceremony.” The festival was formally opened by CM Yogi, who launched vibrant balloons into the sky.The Sikh Regiment’s soldiers bravely performed while listening to Punjabi music during this. The Chief Minister went to the exhibition that included cutting-edge weaponry and army gear on display. Additionally, he obtained information about different weapons and military hardware from army officials. Speaking at the function, the chief minister said that the young people in the state have a chance to get to know the Indian Army and see firsthand the bravery and valour of its members. Calling the Sikh Regiment’s display of bravery “brilliant,” he explained that this was the age-old Indian art form that our talented young people had used to respond appropriately to the invaders.He expressed happiness that the Indian Army had honoured this tradition and motivated the country’s youth by showcasing the sacrifice and commitment of the Sikh Gurus through the use of this age-old art of war. The Chief Minister continued, “With the ‘Know Your Army’ festival, we are not only able to view the display of army weaponry and equipment, but we are also able to get a close-up look at and comprehension of the strength, bravery, and patriotism of the army.” People who are generally unaware of the army’s weaponry, tactics, and operational expertise can now learn about them thanks to this event. “The land of heroes is UP.” In every conflict waged for the nation’s security, our soldiers have made significant contributions. As they have guarded the nation, our soldiers have made the state proud. The welfare of active and retired military personnel is likewise a top priority for the state government. Yogi continued, “The government gives one family member a government job and gives the families of martyrs a financial reward of Rs 50 lakhs.” According to CM Yogi, the nation is currently accomplishing self-reliance objectives in every industry. In this sense, our country is quickly moving towards military hardware and weaponry self-sufficiency for the armed forces. He went on to talk about the 2020 Defence Expo and emphasised Uttar Pradesh’s function as a defence hub. CM Yogi emphasised that UP is the first state to establish Sainik Schools for girls in addition to being the first state to offer Sainik Schools.
