Hangzhou, Sept 25: On the second day of shooting competition at the Asian Games in this city on Monday, the Indian men’s 10m air rifle team captured gold with a score that broke the world record. The combination of Olympic gold medalist Divyansh Panwar, world champion Rudrankksh Patil, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar amassed 1893.7 in the qualification round, breaking the Chinese team’s previous record of 1893.3 achieved less than a month earlier at the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. Tomar, Panwar, and Rudrankksh combined their scores of 632.5, 631.6, and 629.6 to set the world record.
