BALASORE: According to a defence official, India successfully test-fired its “Pralay” surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) on Tuesday from Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the organisation that created the missile. Launched at approximately 9:50 am, the missile accomplished every mission goal, the official reported. According to him, a series of tracking devices tracked its path along the coast. According to the official, “Pralay” is a 350–500 km short-range, surface–to–surface missile with a 500–1,000 kg payload capacity.
