The IG CRPF Srinagar sector said the throng at Lal Chowk today reflects a peaceful mood while speaking on the sidelines of the CRPF All Women Motorcycle Expedition 2023, which was earlier set off by the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha from iconic Lal Chowk.“You are in Lal Chowk today, and there is a sizable crowd here. A women’s bike expedition that will traverse more than 2134 kilometres and pass through 40 districts before arriving in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat on October 31 in honour of the late former deputy prime minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was flagged off earlier from Lal Chowk.According to the IG CRPF, the goal of the All Women Bike Expedition was to inform the general public, in particular the girls and the women achievers, that a women’s bike rally had started from Srinagar’s famed Lal Chowk. He claimed that the women’s division of the CRPF actively takes part in every event with their male colleagues in the forces. According to Rana, the CRPF’s female personnel participates in anti-militancy operations as well as other security-related activities.He said that the CRPF’s female members actively participate in security operations, patrols, and Road Opening Procedure (ROP) activities with their male colleagues.
