IAF rescues 5 UTDRF personnel in Ladakh

LEH: The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a risky operation to rescue five members of the Union Territory Disaster Relief Force from the Markha Valley in Ladakh, the Army reported on Thursday. According to sources, the IAF initiated the rescue effort at the request of the Ladakh government after receiving information that some UTDRF troops were stuck in the high-altitude area. “Daunting helicopter unit (114 HU) of the IAF rescue operation.
