GUWAHATI: According to a defence release on Friday, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhuri stressed the significance of constantly maintaining a high level of operational readiness. The Air Marshal stated that it is crucial to ensure operational preparedness of all platforms, weapon systems, and assets while attending the two-day Eastern Air Command (EAC) Commanders Conference in Tezpur on October 12. In addition, he emphasised the importance of always keeping an eye on physical and cyber security, improving maintenance procedures to increase mission effectiveness, and conducting root cause analyses of all accidents and events.All commanders were exhorted by the Air Chief Marshal to keep up their efforts to maintain a secure operational flying environment. He evaluated the Eastern Command’s operational preparedness and expressed pleasure with its significant accomplishments. Additionally, stations that excelled in operations, maintenance, and administration received prizes from the Chief of Air Staff. The Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal S P Dharkar of the EAC met him at the Tezpur Air Force station.
