SRINAGAR, Jan 25: According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jammu and Kashmir’s infrastructural development, smooth education, and advancement are reaching unprecedented levels, while organised stone protests, hartals, and stone pelting have halted. He claimed that instead of stones, young people in J&K now carry laptops. After e-inaugurating the 100 E-buses for Jammuites, Shah spoke electronically to a crowd in Jammu from New Delhi and stated that J&K is experiencing a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress. With the enthusiastic assistance of J&K kids today. Stone-throwing, organised protests, and hartals are relics from the past. The Home Minister stated, “J&K is seeing massive infrastructure building, smooth schooling, and development.”He claimed that although political authorities actively supported the granting of jobs in J&K, those days were long gone, with “ministers giving slips to give jobs to youth.” “Exam papers have replaced such slips today, and recruitment is happening in a transparent manner,” stated Shah. The Home Minister stated that, contrary to the claims of J&K politicians that nothing would change in the state if Article 370 is lifted, there has been a 70% decrease in terrorism, an 81% decrease in civilian fatalities, and a 48% decrease in security force fatalities.He claimed that the Panchayat Raj System was established in J&K under Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s direction, and that delimitation is currently being carried out to guarantee appropriate reservation to the excluded sectors. According to the Home Minister, organised protests have also concluded and there have been no incidents of stone pelting in J&K in 2020. “Stone pelting killed 112 people in 2010; by 2020, that number is zero,” he declared. According to Shah, the financial belt around terrorism has been tightened, and properties belonging to terrorists and those who assist them are being sealed. He declared, “Many terrorist outfits are being banned.”
