NEW DELHI, Sept 5: According to officials, the CBI has detained an executive director of GAIL in connection with an alleged Rs 50 lakh bribery case in which money was exchanged to favour a few contractors working on gas pipeline projects.
They said that in addition to GAIL’s Executive Director (Projects) K B Singh, four other people had been detained.
In relation to the case, officials claimed searches are being conducted at a number of places in Delhi, Noida, and Visakhapatnam. (Agencies)
