Fresh Batch Of Pilgrims departs from Pantha Chowk Base Camp in Srinagar for the Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, Aug 8: On Tuesday morning, a fresh batch of pilgrims departed from Pantha Chowk base camp in Srinagar for their subsequent trek to Amarnath cave shrine.
To get to the sacred Amarnath Cave, the pilgrims set out from the Pantha Chowk base camp via the Baltal and Pahalgam paths.
On Monday morning, a group of pilgrims left Pantha Chowk base camp in Srinagar to continue their journey to the Amarnath cave temple.On their route to the sacred shrine, the pilgrims could be heard yelling “Bam Bam Bhole” slogans.
I would like to thank our Army for the excellent accommodations made for the yatra because I have never seen a facility like this. Devi lal Kumawat, a pilgrim, declared, “I’ll visit this place every year.
“Administration has been quite helpful, and the locals are also very helpful. Everyone should visit Kashmir; we are delighted to be here, a different traveller remarked.
Beginning on July 1, the 62-day Amarnath Yatra will end on August 31, 2023.
