NEW DELHI, Jan 26: At a lavish display on Friday to commemorate India’s 75th Republic Day, French President Emmanuel Macron was the special guest. Two Rafale fighter planes and a multi-role tanker transport aircraft from the French Space and Air Force screamed across the skies of Delhi. Thousands of onlookers craned their necks in amazement as the whizzing aeroplanes split the morning sky, right as approximately 95 French troops marched down the Kartavya Path in the centre of the nation’s capital. At the big procession, there was also a 30-piece French band contingent that attracted notice.
