Fraudster from Pune is captured by Jammu Police with Rs. 1.96 lakh

JAMMU : A fraudster from Pune who conned a trader from Sarore of Bishnah in the Jammu district has been detained by police, along with Rs 1.96 lakhs from Pune, according to police. “One Raghav Narang of Sarore-Bishnah in District Jammu filed a written complaint at P/S Bishnah stating that the complainant trades walnut kernels with ‘Sarthi traders’ Nagpur but some cheat called the complainant and ordered four consignments of walnut kernels,” according to the police.Accordingly, the complainant provided the fraudster with products valued Rs. 20,42,494 but afterwards discovered he had been duped, they claimed. At Police Station Bishnah, FIR No. 02/2022 U/S 420 IPC was filed in this instance, and an inquiry was launched. According to the police, “After this, Hitesh Nanak Ram of Nagpur, Maharashtra was finally apprehended in Pune by special police teams from PS Bishnah led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna, SHO PS Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma, and PSI Mashqoor Ahmed with the aid of technical assistance.
