JAMMU: At Raj Bhawan today, a joint team of the PRI and the Yuva World Brahman Federation J&K, led by Advocate Daksheesh Sharma, paid a visit to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The Lt Governor was also contacted by former MLC Vibodh Gupta, who raised a number of public interest issues pertaining to the Rajouri region. The Lieutenant Governor was informed about a number of District Udhampur development concerns by former legislator Balwant Singh Mankotia. Afterwards, the Lt Governor received a memorandum of concerns and demands from a delegation of the Janipur Market Association, headed by its President, R C Bali, on behalf of the people living in Janipur Colony. The Lt Governor was also called by Keshav Chopra, Chairman of the Samvedna Society. During their meeting, the former legislators and delegation members were given assurances by the Lieutenant Governor that the real demands and issues they raised will be addressed appropriately.
