UDHAMPUR: The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology; Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, stated here today that “the Century youth of 2047 when India celebrates 100 years of its independence will be the first time voters of today.” At the “Nav Matadata Sammelan,” which was organised by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to commemorate National Voters’ Day today and virtually addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Minister engaged with first-time voters, the majority of whom were Class 12 and first-year college students. Prior to 2014, Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that there was a general sense of pessimism in the nation and that the average person had lost trust in the establishment.In addition, the kids lacked self-worth and harboured no optimism for the future. The minister claimed that young people were searching for chances abroad and that India was not well-regarded by the international community. Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that everything has changed since Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered the national arena as a result of the meticulous and persistent work done over the past ten years by Mr. Modi. He was happy that India’s youth now command a very high stature for their talent and that the country is highly regarded on the international scene. The Union Minister continued, “They hold prominent positions in the majority of international organisations, and India is regarded as one of the world’s front-runners.” According to him, Prime Minister Modi has become the tallest leader in the world. According to Dr Jitendra Singh, India has surpassed the United Kingdom to become the fifth-biggest economy, having previously ranked as the tenth largest. India’s economy is predicted to grow to become the fourth largest in the world this year. The Minister stated that India’s accomplishments in the space industry demonstrate the country’s rapid growth rate, citing the Chandrayaan Mission and an indigenously created coronavirus vaccine as two examples of the nation’s noteworthy successes. Speaking with a sizable group of newly registered voters, Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that this is one of the greatest periods in history for young people. As a result, they ought to take advantage of all available opportunities. With the state-of-the-art technology available, the young should exploit it as they should have a feeling of pride having been dubbed the architects of India in 2027, the Minister exhorted the audience. They have an obligation to both the country and themselves, according to Dr. Jitendra Singh, to get ready for the realisation of the aim of a developed India by 2047. The Union Minister claimed that by giving young people opportunities for self-employment, the government had levelled the playing field.The kids now have a supportive environment in which they may transition from being job searchers to employment suppliers. Speaking about the StartUp movement, Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that with the creation of more than 1.25 lakh StartUps, India has ascended to the third position in the world. He added that around 3,000 young people from Jammu and Kashmir are now making good money thanks to the Aroma Mission.
