DODA: In the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, a large fire spread to multiple homes on Thursday, according to officials. Abdul Qayoom, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Doda, stated, “We received information around 4:30 in the morning that a few houses in the Bhaderwah area of Doda district had caught fire and firefighters were rushed to the spot.” Officials stated that five fire tenders were dispatched as soon as they received information, and the fire was put out. “Eight houses were damaged in the fire, according to the information we have received so far. We discovered during the preliminary investigation that a short circuit was the fire’s origin,” SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom stated. Officials added that there were currently no reports of any injuries or fatalities from the fire. More research is being done.
