SRINAGAR, Jan 2: A large amount of property damage was caused by a fire that started in a barrack, housing officer mess, office, and dining hall at the BSF headquarters in Sanat Nagar, Srinagar, officials said on Tuesday. According to a fire and emergency services official, the Border Security Force (BSF) mess barrack in Srinagar was damaged by fire that started at 4:27 in the morning. They said that to put out the leaping flames, seven fire tenders were dispatched. No fatalities or injuries were reported as a result of the incident. They said they were attempting to determine what caused the fire.
